In foods there are many nutritional plans available. Everyone is aware of the obesity epidemic in the US and other countries around the world, and these diet and exercise programs have popped up partly to solve problem, and partly to make money.

Good nutrition is not as complicated as this would lead a person to believe. The truth is that healthy nutrition is very simple. How to get good nutrition for our health body, here is a basic outline to follow would look like this:

  • Eat whole grains instead of refined
  • Get at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day
  • Have a couple servings of dairy per day
  • Choose lean meats or meat-alternatives
  • Always limit sugar and alcohol
  • Drink 6 or more glasses of water per day
  • Choose whole foods over pre-packaged, processed foods
